In a day marked by rhythm and artistic spectacle, the 2026 Choreographic Festival, presented by Cristina González, solidified its position as the epicenter of dance and creativity. With massive participation from schools and groups, the event offered a mosaic of styles that captivated the audience. The Leticia Mújica Ballet opened the gala, featuring its children's group (Los Rumberos) and primary school group (La Banda del Jaleo) from CEIP Pepe Monagas. The Carmen Cabrera Dance School, under the direction of Iván Gangura and Carmen Cabrera, stood out with three powerful performances: the energy of Funk & Commercial Dance in "This Place," the elegance of Jazz with "Again," and the spectacular "Gold Time."

For its part, the Emily Dominguez Dance Academy filled the stage with energy with three vibrant performances: "Worth It," "Rock This Party," and "About to Blow." The Dunia Morales School presented the endearing "I'm Going to Be the Lion King" and the magic of its other two performances, "Magic Stars" and "Circus." The Nahia Dance Studio Academy also had a notable presence, dazzling with its groups Diamond Babys, Blue Diamond Swing, and the choreography "Spark Gems." The variety of disciplines was, without a doubt, the highlight of the festival.

The Levi and Estrella Circus School amazed with their Lady Gaga-themed choreography, and Levi and Estrella's Kids did the same with their Christina Aguilera performance. The Maspalomas Artistic Skating Club brought fluidity to the wheels with a large group of 35 participants. The Leticia Mújica Dance Club demonstrated its versatility with three distinct pieces: "Los Rumberos" (Ballet), "La Banda del Jaleo," and the "Motion Crew" style. Likewise, the Famara Neighborhood Association of Aldea Blanca (Kalipso Group) delighted the audience with their charisma in "Ños Agüita, you'd think the clowns in my circus danced like that" and "With a Smile in Las Vegas." Finally, the program was rounded out with performances by the Paso a Paso Academy (The British School) and their piece "Beetholvan 5th," the Vibradance Academy, and the Nerecumbé Latin Dance Academy with "Tuntuneco." The event closed in a festive atmosphere to the sound of the Carnival Anthem.
