The fair, which had to be postponed due to weather conditions, has a new location on the roof of the Maspalomas Parking lot.
The event, which this year features the participation of 57 artisans from 15 municipalities on the island, consolidates its appeal for the island's inhabitants and the tourists who visit it.
The 15th Gran Canaria Spring South Craft Fair has new dates. After being postponed due to weather conditions, the event will now take place from April 8th to 15th at a new location: the covered area of the Faro de Maspalomas parking garage on Avenida Cristóbal Colón.
This edition features 57 artisans from 15 municipalities of Gran Canaria, representing 22 crafts, four of them traditional, consolidating itself as a highly attractive event for both the island's inhabitants and the thousands of tourists who visit the south of Gran Canaria at this time of year.
The fair also maintains its focus as a showcase where tradition and innovative crafts share the spotlight. Once again, visitors will find original, high-quality pieces, all made entirely by hand. Jewelry is the most represented craft, followed by ceramics, macramé, and fashion. The stalls also feature pottery, basketry, cutlery, blacksmithing, wool spinning, soap making, toys, patchwork, and dolls, among other crafts.
Regarding the origin of the artisans, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria leads the municipal participation, followed by Agüimes and Telde. Professionals from the municipalities of Santa Lucía de Tirajana, San Bartolomé de Tirajana, Valsequillo, Teror, Santa Brígida, Mogán, Firgas, Agaete, San Mateo, Ingenio, Gáldar, and Arucas will also participate in the exhibition.
The fair will be open from 10:00 AM to 19:00 PM during its eight-day run. Throughout the week, the program will be complemented by musical performances, beginning on Thursday, April 9th, at 17:00 PM with a recital by international soloist Ana García. On Friday, April 10th, at the same time, Asentaos y Tumbaos will take the stage, and on Saturday, April 11th, at 12:00 PM, La Musicleta will perform. Sunday, April 12th, will feature Misi Live Music, and on Tuesday, April 14th, Los del Son will perform, both concerts also at 17:00 PM.

Promoted and financed by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through the Fund for Ethnography and the Development of Canarian Crafts (Fedac), an organization attached to the Ministry of Economic Development, Industry, Trade and Crafts, the Primavera Sur Crafts Fair is organized by Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, with the collaboration of the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana.
