The fire started around 02:00 AM on a boat docked in the port, requiring a rapid response to prevent it from spreading. No injuries have been reported.
A fire broke out on a boat at the Arguineguín dock in the municipality of Mogán early Monday morning, mobilizing emergency services after fire was detected on one of the vessels docked in the port area.
The alert came in around 02:00 a.m., at which time the Puerto Rico Emergency Consortium fire station was activated, which quickly traveled to the scene to extinguish the fire.
Thanks to the intervention of the emergency personnel, the fire was brought under control before it could spread to other nearby vessels. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
