SPAR Gran Canaria reopened its Salinetas store in Telde today, Tuesday, transforming the shopping experience with renovated spaces and new efficiency measures. Following a complete refurbishment, the supermarket opens its doors with a modernized and functional image, incorporating cutting-edge technologies to improve customer comfort.
This store, located at 2 Diego de Almagro Street, has undergone a complete renovation covering its 250 square meters. The layout has been carefully designed to improve operations and the well-being of both customers and staff, offering more spacious and brighter areas.
Among the new features, SPAR Salinetas stands out for its specialized sections on fresh, locally sourced products. The store offers a carefully curated selection of fruits and vegetables, meat and deli items, as well as a bakery with freshly baked goods, always prioritizing quality and Canarian origin.
The modernization of the establishment is part of the Canary Islands business group's commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency. To this end, state-of-the-art electronic labels have been implemented, and all refrigeration equipment, including upright refrigerators and display cases in the butcher and delicatessen sections, has been replaced. In addition, the refrigeration unit has been upgraded to a high-efficiency system, contributing to reduced energy consumption.
According to Alejandro Fleitas, general manager of SPAR ARARASA, "this renovation is part of a strategic action within the SPAR Gran Canaria network, which allows us to reduce operating costs, increase the comfort of consumers and staff, as well as adapt the stores to new ways of shopping, focusing on fresh and local products."
The reopening not only improves the infrastructure but also strengthens the team, with the addition of one more person to provide more personalized customer service. The store thus retains the jobs of the 17 people who, until now, were part of the team, reflecting the chain's commitment to its employees.
The supermarket has launched special offers, inviting the community to discover its improvements, to mark the opening.
SPAR Salinetas maintains its usual opening hours, from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and on Sundays and holidays from 21:00 a.m. to 15:00 p.m.
