Gran Canaria Tourism has successfully completed another edition of its professional workshops, a strategic initiative designed to strengthen the island's presence in the national market and forge closer ties with the travel agency sector. Following a dynamic five-day format, the team traveled along a key route in northern and eastern Spain, beginning in Zaragoza and continuing with stops in Barcelona, Pamplona, San Sebastián, and Santander.

The event has established itself as an essential meeting point for promoting the destination. The island delegation boasted top-level representation, including key players in Gran Canaria's tourism sector. Among the brands participating in these working sessions were the Canarian companies Lopesan, Binter, Seaside Collection, Dunas Hotels & Resorts, LIVVO Hotel Group, Gloria Thalasso & Hotels, and Satocan.

The successful turnout in these five cities reaffirms the sector's interest in Gran Canaria's offerings and the effectiveness of a promotional strategy based on proximity. The institution expressed its gratitude to all the professionals who actively participated in the meetings, emphasizing the value of public-private collaboration in maintaining the competitiveness of the island's tourism brand on the Spanish mainland.

With the positive results of this first round, the Gran Canaria Tourism team is already preparing the continuation of its promotional agenda. The activity doesn't stop, and the roadmap set by the institution includes a second series of professional workshops, scheduled to begin next week, with the continued objective of reaching as many influencers and travel agents as possible.
