A fire that broke out in the early hours of the morning in the Las Burrillas area of the Mogán Ravine mobilized several emergency resources and forced the precautionary evacuation of nearby homes. The swift action of the Mogán Civil Protection service initially contained the flames until the arrival of the firefighters.

The incident occurred at 04:42 a.m., when the 1-1-2 Emergency Coordination Center (CECOES) received an alert about a vehicle fire in the Las Burrillas neighborhood, between El Palmito and El Cercado, in the Barranco de Mogán ravine. The first unit to arrive at the scene was Mogán Civil Protectionwhose personnel proceeded to secure the area and the preventive evacuation of several nearby homes due to the risk of the fire spreading.

Civil Protection volunteers attempted to control the flames using a deterrent unit equipped with 600 liters of water, managing to partially contain the fire until the arrival of the Firefighters from the Gran Canaria Emergency Consortium, who finally proceeded to completely extinguish the fire.

The operation involved officers from the Mogán Local Police, the Civil Guard, the Consortium Firefighters, and Mogán Civil Protection. Despite the intensity of the fire and the extensive emergency deployment, no injuries were reported.
