San Bartolomé de Tirajana resumes the technical training of its farmers
The Coordinator of Farmers and Livestock Organizations of the Canary Islands (Coag-Canarias) and the Department of Agriculture and Livestock of the City Council of San Bartolomé de Tirajana directed by Araceli Armas Cruz are offering a specific course on handling phytosanitary products to fifteen farmers from this municipality.
The course, at a basic level and 25 teaching hours, is financed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food of the Government of Spain, and is free of charge. It has been taught since last Thursday, September 21, in the afternoon, from four to nine at night, in the teaching facilities of the El Tablero Training Center.
The objective of the course is to train its attendees in the correct handling and application of phytosanitary products used in the preventive and effective treatment of different pests. It will conclude next Wednesday the 27th with an exam to obtain the corresponding handler's card that authorizes and issues the General Directorate of Agriculture of the autonomous Government with a validity of ten years.
